2023 HydroGEN New Project Kickoff Meeting - Metadata

The kickoff meeting of the 3rd round of HydroGEN FOA projects was held at NREL August 21-22, 2023, in a hybrid in-person and virtual format. Eleven new DOE-awarded projects comprise six photoelectrochemical (PEC) and five solar thermochemical (STCH) water splitting projects. The meeting included an introduction of the background of the HydroGEN consortium and the resources available to new project PIs. There were presentations to introduce each new project and discussions. There were networking opportunities to help new project PIs connect with national lab researchers and capability nodes in the field of research. There were also strategic discussions for future research.
