Abstract: The project team from the Joint Center for Artificial Photosynthesis will utilize a gas diffusion electrode leveraged from electrolyzers to integrate proven photoelectrochemical technology with novel Si perovskite photoabsorbers, to meet goals for lower cost, durable hydrogen production from solar energy. The project also has a focus on earth‐abundant catalysts.
