Abstract: The project will use an inverse search technique to develop an optimized solar thermochemical water splitting cycle based on a hypothetical material, then search for that material. The top‐down approach accounts for reactor designs and seeks materials that fit ideal ranges for an optimal cycle, rather than forcing the cycle to fit the material.
